Your Response is needed!

In order to help defray the costs for our musicians' trip to China, a group of parents have organized to chair a Big Band and Strauss Waltz Dance, but we do not intended this dance to be solely financed by the parents of the China travelers.  Therefore, we need to poll the parents to see if an interest exists that can support the dance. Keep in mind that this is an “adults only” function, and that it will probably take place in a main gym at either New Trier’s East Campus or the Freshman Center in Northfield.

Please answer the following questions before January  18,2000. (Email is preferable, but if you're more comfortable calling, the number is 256-7654)

1.       Would you be willing to come to the dance? (yes or no, and the number of attendees from your home)

2.       Do you think you would be able to sell 2 to 4 other tickets (other than to yourself) if they were $25 or $35 each?   (Note: Families that sell 2 tickets will get their tickets for a reduced rate to be determined.)  (yes or no)

3.       Do you think it will matter in ticket sales if the price were $25 or $30 each?

4.       The only options for the dance are SATURDAY, APRIL 5; or SATURDAY, May 6. If you have a preference, what is it? (April 5 or May 6)

5.       3. We are planning a live auction along with the dance.  Would you have a contact for a large live auction prize?  (We are planning 3 large items to auction.)

6.       Would you be interested in working on, or heading a sub-committee for the dance?

Thanks for your response.
