The Green Weekend invites Performers from Abroad
The Green Weekend has invited "cultural messengers" from
the United States to perform on the evening of the 16th at
the Zheng Zhou Center for the Arts.
There will be two parts to the performance. In the first half, the
New Trier Orchestra will perform Beethoven’s 5th Symphony,
Figaro’s Wedding, and other classical highlights. The second half will
be assorted jazz played by the acclaimed New Trier Jazz Band. The bands
will play fun little songs such as "Good Mood",
"Chicago", "The Giant’s Footsteps",
"Yesterday", and other local flavor pieces
