...is comprised of jazz directors from the participating schools.
The title "Fat" has nothing to do with the girth of any individual member or the collective girth of the ensemble.  It is so named to avoid any confusion between our band and Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band,
a group with whom we are so often and rightly confused.
