Clinician: ALAN BAYLOCK
ALAN BAYLOCK is one
of the finest writers on the jazz scene today. Baylock currently holds the
position of Chief Arranger for the renowned "Airmen of Note"
jazz ensemble of the United States Air Force Band in Washington D.C. In
addition, he is in demand as a freelance composer, arranger, producer,
instrumentalist, clinician, and adjudicator, and is the leader of the Alan
Baylock Jazz Orchestra.

Alan Baylock Jazz Orchestra's debut recording Two
Seconds to Midnight was released in October 2003 on Seabreeze Records.
After receiving international critical acclaim, the CD spent eight weeks
on the JazzWeek national jazz radio top 40 chart. More of Baylock's music
can be found on recordings by the David Liebman Big Band, Maynard Ferguson
and Big Bop Nouveau, the Ultraphonic Jazz Orchestra, the Airmen of Note,
and on numerous other professional and collegiate albums, including
releases by the University of North Texas One O' Clock Lab Band and the
University of Miami Concert Jazz Band. His music is published by Warner
